I might not be able to start Easter egg hunting until later today, but in the meantime, what did y'all think of last night's episode? I'm starting to get aggrivated that we're able to call things so early on - Eloise is Daniel's mom, etc.
However, the reunion between Jin and Sawyer was adorable. Loved it.
More thoughts? What do you think Eloise is going to say? Do you think John is really dead? (I do, actually.) If you do, how do you think he died?
Mantaray
I enjoyed last night's episode. Not sure what Eloise will say or how John died. I liked the reveals by Charlotte. Do we know how she knows Korean? I guess we'll have a scene where Daniel meets a young Charlotte and tells her not to come back
1Yeah I definitely like last nights episode. Im happy to know why Rousseau is crazy poor lady. I really wonder what happened to make everyone else go crazy with the fog monster and also what is in the temple. I was trying to make out the hieroglyphs on the temple but couldn't really get a good look. Im sure someone online already has.
Jin and Sawyer are ADORABLE!
Im sorry but as an anthropology major I scoffed when Charlotte said she became an anthropologist to find the island. We don't study geography hun, we study people and their cultures. I already knew she was on the island before but it was a surprise to hear that she had met Daniel before
So "Jacob" is Jack's dad? And he does not seem to like Ben or is he just not happy with Ben. I wanted more but he disappeared
2When Jin and Sawyer saw each other, I was like "Aw, are they gonna hug?" and then they did. SQUEE!
Also, I was like "Ooh, that guy is going to lose his arm!" Because in the first season, Rousseau said "This is the dark territory. Where Montand lost his arm."
3Never mind I remember how Jacks dad was in the cabin
4Holy crap, good memory Whip! I remembered Rousseau talking about the sickness and the Dark Territory, but I did not remember her saying that about his arm.
I'm hoping that the time travel is done for now. I was starting to overthink every little thing, and it was annoying because I'd get fixated on why certain things happened, but other things didn't. I can only hang in there with science fiction for so long and then I start feeling like it's a bag o' crap.
I cracked up when Charlotte said "Turn it up! I love Geronimo Jackson."
What else...Oh, I kinda got scared when Locke was down at the bottom of the well and we didn't know who was coming around the corner. I SOOO wanted it to be Jacob, so I when it turned out to be Christian, I rolled my eyes and shouted, "OH please. What's HE doing there?"
5OMG, I just found this group and I'm so excited.
6RCL, I'm pretty sure Christian is Jacob. Isn't that what they were revealing last night, or did I just make that up? I sometimes jump to conclusions that others don't make with this show and then I feel like an idiot. Like I was convinced that Charlotte needed to find her constant but everyone in the office made me feel like I'm on crack or something when I suggested that
7The thing is, couldn't Daniel be Charlotte's constant since she saw him when she was a little kid? Or would her constant have to be off the island?
8Is Christian Jacob?
I was wondering about the constant thing to!
9Oh, lord, I don't know if Christian is Jacob or not. Balls! This show is so infuriating/awesome.
10I thought Christian was Jacob.
11What the idea of a constant again?
RCL - I was scared too when John was in the well!
I often wonder if Jacob is even a human. Just saying...
The constant was what happened with desmond on the ship. He got the bloody nose and was told if he couldn't find someone to hold onto throughout the time shifts then he'd die. (or something like that!)
12Ah, thanks.
13I don't think that Christian is Jacob. I think he's Jacob's representative.
14Hmmm, I like that Whip
I definitely don't think that Jacob is a human- I think that Jacob
is the island. And that, like Whip said, Christian is his representative or how he appears to people. Or whatever.
15Sy, GirlC...no, the constant:
Remember when Daniel is flipping through his notebook and it says:
Also, Penny is Desomond's constant. Basically, your constant is your link to the real world/real time.
16Isn't that what I said.
17ooo Jacob's rep
brilliant idea Whip
I loved last nights epy
I'm still stuck on how and who was Daniel. How was he on the island when Charlotte was little? He is like Richard in that he doesn't age?
18I almost peed when Christian said, "Say hello to my son."
19I'm really diggin the whole Charlotte/Daniel love story
20I was thinking that Daniel had gone back in time when he talked to Charlotte when she was little
21I want to know who's Charlotte's mom? (Since she was born on the island)
22And who's her dad?
Is she Ben's daughter and he doesn't know it?
Good questions!
23I was wondering about the possible relationship between Ben and Charlotte too. This could be totally unrelated, but what happened to that little girl who gave Ben the doll?
24I definitely think that Jacob uses the dead people on the island as his communication with the people on the island. Like Eko seeing Yemi, Christian Shepard etc. As for Annie (Bens friend from childhood that gave him the doll) the creators have said that she's SUPER important. Some people are saying that Charlotte could be Annies daughter or even possible Ben and Annie's daughter. Honestly I'm not really sure how into that idea I am, but I do look forward to hearing about Annie again.
25Also, I was just thinking about Locke being dead. Usually the island doesn't let people die if they have unfinished business. Like Jack trying to jump off the bridge and Michael trying to kill himself. Something always happened that they can'[t, because the Island still needs them to do "work". So somehow Locke must have technically finished his business right? So maybe getting the 6 back wasn't his ACUTAL mission? Or maybe the Island is just over him and didn't want him anymore? Since he was the one who was supposed to move the island in the first place and then be sent to the real world, maybe the island is trying to get rid of him.
